A couple weekends ago, I visited friends in New York City. I had hoped to share photos earlier, but what can you do? If you weren't already following on my Instagram, here are some snaps from a wonderful weekend in the city. I had never experienced NYC during the summer months, so naturally, I went a bit crazy with the instas! I'm hoping to share more of my travel photos on the blog!
Of course, Central Park was at the top of my list. I spent most of Friday walking through and snapping photos. I couldn't get enough of the greenery and liveliness. The necessary pitstops included the boat pond, Bethesda Terrace, and a walk down the main mall.
I made my way towards the West Village to visit Lafayette, which was amazing. I didn't snap as many photos as I had hoped to, but obviously snagged a shoefie with their gorgeous tiled floor. Saturday, I took another trip over to meet up with Gab from Savvy Home at Navy New York. While we stuck to rosé, I'm anxious to get back there for the food! The atmosphere is on point and intimate, a perfect summer drink spot.
A necessary stop if you're braving the craziness of tourists flooding 5th Ave.... head to the Polo flagship store for an amazing three flights of stairs gallery wall and the best little spot for grabbing a coffee or iced mocha - because it was literally 96 degrees out - Ralph's Coffee. I'm obsessed with everything about this cafe. The floors, the decor, the drinks, the atmosphere. It's to die for. It's perfect.
Hope you continue to follow along on Instagram for future travels. France is 2 weeks away!!!!!!!!!
