Film Favorite: Holiday Classics

Film Favorite: Holiday Classics, on Natalie Catalina

One of my favorite annual holiday posts! My personal list of film favorites for the month of December. Plus, a bonus checklist for you all to download!

Helloooo. Another week closer to Christmas and time is flying by. I’ve been doing some serious movie-watching this season and trying to catch all of my favorites by the end of December. I do this same post every single year and always have fun putting it together with a couple updates. This year I decided to add something a bit more fun and give you all my checklist! I even made it nice and pretty for easy printing. Have fun!

Deck the Halls

I had a lot of fun with this one. Since I’m not a fan of red and green, I use the holiday season as a great excuse to throw tinsel all over and bring out lots of pinks.

I’m very into a retro Christmas! Most of my holiday decor are either items I can’t pass up each year from Anthropologie or vintage items I’ve been collecting over the past few years. About 90% of my tree is vintage and I love that. I also collected some items that felt a bit retro, but were brand new… like tinsel garland, velvet ribbons, simple shiny bulb ornaments, bottle brush trees (I mix my old ones with new ones!), the list goes on. I love soft colors at Christmas, but always find some small goodies in red, like a classic Santa figurine, to add to the mix here and there. I’ve also been really embracing silver lately!! A nice change from the ever-so-popular gold options.

Holiday Playlist

Happy Monday friends. I’ve officially allowed myself to start listening to holiday music.

My apartment is decked out in Christmas already and I’ve been highly enjoying nights in! Now, all I need is some pretty snow falling outside. I broke out my record player to listen to some vintage holiday records and forgot how much I enjoyed the sound. This playlist is old news since it’s been up for a couple years, but I do try to switch up some artists every year. As always, lots of classics and original favorites that can’t be beat! And 3.5 hours of good old holiday tunes. Hope you enjoy!

By the way, my holiday posts are kicking off this week, so next up on Wednesday, is my roundup of favorite holiday decorations. Be sure to check back in!!

In the meantime, don’t forget you can shop my Holiday Gift Guide over here.
