What to Wear No.48

Tis the season for holiday parties, champagne, egg nog, and lots of sparkle. Here’s my dream outfit for a shiny holiday get-together or a New Years bash.

I still can’t believe how quickly this month flew by! I still have several things to get done before Christmas hits, including figuring out what I’m wearing to our family’s party. This year, we’re switching things up and my aunt has put out a PSA that we’re doing pajamas and lounge clothes - I absolutely cannot complain. I’m over-joyed at the fact I can be super comfy all day long come Christmas.

We’re also traveling to Florida as usual after the holiday, and instead of dressing up for a NYE party, my mom and I are opting for a cozy night in this year. Let’s just say 2018 was really tough and last year at this time, my family was going through a lot…. NYE didn’t exactly turn out to be all the fun we had hoped it would be. I’m perfectly happy entering 2019 feeling fresh and tan, well-rested, and not hungover. Ready to take on a brand new year. That being said, I do still love an excuse to dress-up and even though I’m not this year, I still had to share a little outfit post! This is my dream look for a fancy cocktail party… full of sparkly and shine, and pink!!!

One of my favorite annual holiday posts! My personal list of film favorites for the month of December. Plus, a bonus checklist for you all to download!

Helloooo. Another week closer to Christmas and time is flying by. I’ve been doing some serious movie-watching this season and trying to catch all of my favorites by the end of December. I do this same post every single year and always have fun putting it together with a couple updates. This year I decided to add something a bit more fun and give you all my checklist! I even made it nice and pretty for easy printing. Have fun!

I had a lot of fun with this one. Since I’m not a fan of red and green, I use the holiday season as a great excuse to throw tinsel all over and bring out lots of pinks.

I’m very into a retro Christmas! Most of my holiday decor are either items I can’t pass up each year from Anthropologie or vintage items I’ve been collecting over the past few years. About 90% of my tree is vintage and I love that. I also collected some items that felt a bit retro, but were brand new… like tinsel garland, velvet ribbons, simple shiny bulb ornaments, bottle brush trees (I mix my old ones with new ones!), the list goes on. I love soft colors at Christmas, but always find some small goodies in red, like a classic Santa figurine, to add to the mix here and there. I’ve also been really embracing silver lately!! A nice change from the ever-so-popular gold options.
