Holiday Sips and Sweets

Holiday Sips and Sweets, on Natalie Catalina

Less than a week until Christmas….. how?! I’m still a bit in shock how quickly this year is coming to an end, but I’m fully embracing it and actually excited for a fresh year ahead. But mostly just excited to crack open my new 2019 planner (you get me, right?). Today, I’m happy to share a little collection of my favorite recipes old and newish, cocktails and sweets I’ve bookmarked over the years and may have shared here in the past. This will probably be my last post of the season!

I’ll be taking the next week off and then heading to the Florida condo next weekend, and am actually leaving my work laptop in DC. Thank god for that. It’s been so so long since I took a proper vacation and put up an OOO. My mom and I also decided to go to Disney when we land before driving over to Vero. We just really want to see the Christmas decorations before they’re taken down!! So obviously, I’m pumped for that. I’ll be back here at some point in January, but keeping the pressure off to enjoy time with friends and family and myself. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday however you celebrate! And a wonderful New Year full of love, laughter, and hopefully, champagne. As usual, I’ll be active-ish on Insta stories, so follow along there!

A Thanksgiving Tablescape

A little twist on a traditional setting for a lovely Thanksgiving table.

You guys, Thanksgiving is next week. I can’t believe it. I’m still trying to wrap my head around how fast this year has gone by and how quickly the holidays have come upon us. I read this post and was so inspired by the gorgeous colors and fun setting, I had to pull one together of my own. I’m loving dried florals and dark, natural pieces mixed with pretty whites and light pinks, and I’d love to throw together a Thanksgiving dinner one year with this inspiration in mind! I’ve been very motivated to get a bunch of holiday posts done this weekend and am excited to share more throughout the next several weeks! And if you missed it, my 2018 Holiday Gift Guide is live!
