Hey hey. I was very inspired to share a new WTW post with you all today after snagging a few dress options for Easter last night. This year, I’ll be somewhere particularly special and beautiful for Easter, so of course, I need something new and fabulous to wear. I spotted this dress on Zara and instantly fell in love! The color is so yummy, and I’m very into the tweed, such a classic. Also digging the gemstone buttons and extra little fringe detailing. I’m excited to try it on and hoping this is the one! I’ll be happy to have this to reach for in the future too for special occasions. Thinking I’d style it in a monochromatic fashion with all white accessories and perhaps a matching barrette.
Why is it still January? This month is so rough. Not only is it long as hell, but I’ve been struggling with being sick off and on for about three weeks! Horrible. I spent the weekend at home mostly in bed, except for an escape to see On the Basis of Sex (amazing!) and a trip to Trader Joes for some groceries. I managed to get some blog posts done while I was a hermit indoors, so happy to share a new outfit post I’m loving. While I was pulling this together, I was listening to the Cold podcast, and then started watching the new Ted Bundy series on Netflix. So good. Is it weird that I’m so into crime and murder stories?? I’m so fascinated by the Ted Bundy Tapes and definitely recommend. I can say that after watching SO MUCH crime stuff on Netflix and listening to a ridiculous amount of crime podcasts, I feel like I know how to survive as a single woman living along… #SSDGM. Only real crime lovers will know what that means :) However, I’m slightly aware that I may never be able to trust a man ever again. Ok… here are the details for today’s post. Happy Monday.

Tis the season for holiday parties, champagne, egg nog, and lots of sparkle. Here’s my dream outfit for a shiny holiday get-together or a New Years bash.
I still can’t believe how quickly this month flew by! I still have several things to get done before Christmas hits, including figuring out what I’m wearing to our family’s party. This year, we’re switching things up and my aunt has put out a PSA that we’re doing pajamas and lounge clothes - I absolutely cannot complain. I’m over-joyed at the fact I can be super comfy all day long come Christmas.
We’re also traveling to Florida as usual after the holiday, and instead of dressing up for a NYE party, my mom and I are opting for a cozy night in this year. Let’s just say 2018 was really tough and last year at this time, my family was going through a lot…. NYE didn’t exactly turn out to be all the fun we had hoped it would be. I’m perfectly happy entering 2019 feeling fresh and tan, well-rested, and not hungover. Ready to take on a brand new year. That being said, I do still love an excuse to dress-up and even though I’m not this year, I still had to share a little outfit post! This is my dream look for a fancy cocktail party… full of sparkly and shine, and pink!!!
